A maintenance on satellittdata.no will happen on Tuesday 30th August, from 11:00 to 12:00 CET.
During this period satellittdata.no website will still be available, but only searching and viewing data will be possible. Downloading data will not be possible.
The European Space Agency and the European Commission announced on August 3rd that the Copernicus Sentinel-1B mission is officially over. The satellite has been unavailable since 23 December 2021 at 06:53 UTC.
Access to CF-NetCDF using OPeNDAP is still slightly unstable, but a new automatic failover server has been added and access seems to be somewhat more stable. Additional servers are scheduled for implementation in the coming weeks.
The access to the storage systems that contain NetCDF representation of the datasets is experiencing issues resulting in unstable data access for NetCDF products. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
i) satellittdata.no is focusing on accessing data through OPeNDAP, which is a protocol that allows data streaming. In other words, products are not required to be downloaded, but can be accessed without disk access. Such workflows enables server-side data reduction and enables agile data access patterns, among others. Currently, Sentinel-1 and Sentinel-2 products are available.
ii) colhub.met.no contains global coverage of Sentinel-1, Sentinel-2, Sentinel-3, and Sentinel-5p for the latest 14 days in the original SAFE format.
iii) colhub-archive.met.no contains regional coverage of Sentinel-1, Sentinel-2, Sentinel-3, and Sentinel-5p for the entire archive of the respective missions.
